Record Rating is The Record's own measure, built from every stage a shooter has run and tested each night against the following year's results, where it calls head-to-heads right more often than USPSA class or a plain average in every division. It reads as hit factor against the pace that wins an average field: 100 wins an average field, 120 is twenty percent faster. ± is one standard deviation; the list is ordered by rating minus one deviation, and overlapping shooters are level. Avg % rank is where a plain average of match percent, the PractiScore number, would place the shooter in this list; class rank is USPSA classification order, GM to D, with ties broken by avg %. Matches, wins and majors count the last 12 months in this division only, in fields of 8 or more, DQs excluded; a shooter needs four to be ranked. How Record Rating works
